The Faculty of Physical Education was founded in 1968 on the base of Zaporizhzhya State University.

The Faculty of Physical Education offers degrees of Bachelor of Science, Specialist and Master of Science in

  • 8.010203 - Physical Education
  • 8.010203 - Human health (additional specialization "Physical education")
  • 8.010203 - Sport (additional specialization "Physical education")

There are about 1200 students of extra- and intramural forms of studying at the faculty. There are many honored athletes among them: Ukrainian, World and Olympics champions.

There are six divisions at the faculty:

  • The division of the theoretical basis of physical culture
  • The division of physical rehabilitation
  • The division of sport games
  • The division of sport
  • The division of the medical and biological basis of the physical culture
  • The division of correctional pedagogy and adaptive physical education.
