Its history took its roots in 1989, when based on the Faculty of History the specialty “Law” was opened. The Faculty of Law has the highest level of accreditation (5th) and provides the education in Bachelor and Master Degrees in the specialty “Law”. During the last five years the students have taken part at the regional, all-Ukrainian and international conferences, symposiums, congresses, seminars and took the first places there. The Scientific Student Society operates at the faculty. 27 scientific articles and 25 of reports have been published during last year. The charity work is being organized by the faculty students. The constant charitable project “The Faculty of Law – for Orphans” is being realized. The faculty students gain the practical experience at the “Juridical Clinic”, which provides the free juridical help to people. The students also take part at many sport events such as the open tournament in the mini-soccer named “Themis’ Bowl”. THE MATERIAL BASES The Faculty of Law has the great material bases, which is constantly renewing. It has such special rooms as the law-court medicine, the computer lab with the Internet access, criminalistical laboratory, the special room of the administrative and economical law, the special room of the civil law, the laboratory of the techniques and tactics, the laboratory of the research of the cyber thefts, and others. The rooms of the law-court psychiatry, the criminalistical polygon, and the special room of the criminal law and the process are planned to be opened. PERSPECTIVES OF EMPLOYMENT After the university graduating, the students can work at the city councils, at the office of the Public Prosecutor, the Notary’s Office, the courts, the ministry of the domestic affairs, private commercial firms, and other institutions. The faculty alumni also work at the President of Ukraine Administration, Supreme Soviet of Ukraine (Ukrainian Parliament); some of them have their own juridical firms at Russia, USA, and Germany.
