The Faculty of Physics offers the degrees of Bachelor of Science, Specialist and Master of Science in:

  • 8.070101 "Physics" with specialization in:
    • Physical material research;
    • Solid-state electronics and microelectronics.
  • 8.070102 " Solid-state physics" with specialization in:
    • Physical material research;
    • Solid-state electronics and microelectronics;
    • Computer technologies and modeling in physics
  • 6.070203 "Applied Physics"
    • Physics of nanostructures and nanomaterials

The Faculty provides 324 students with education (extra- and intramural departments), 242 of them study intramurally. The tuition is carried out by 25 instructors, among them there are 5 Professors, D. Sci. (20%), 18 docents, Candidates Sci. (72%). The divisions of the Faculty of Physics are supplied with complete set of scientific equipment for electronic and optical microscopy, X-ray analysis, ellipsometry, laser spectroscopy and the set of modern computers as well.

  • Solid-state electronics and microelectronics (head - docent Yanovski Aleksandr Sergeevich, ph. 64-23-92);
  • Applied physics (head - Snizhnyy Valentin Lyk'yanovich, ph. 289-41-16);
  • Physics and methodology of its teaching (head - Professor Ivanutskyy Olexandr Ivanovich, ph. 69-98-36).
