Ichthyologist of ZNU Volodymyr Sarabyeyev undertook internship at University of Spain
During the last meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of ZNU, an Associate Professor of the Department of Forest Biology, Fishery Management and Ichthyology of the Faculty of Biology, Volodymyr Sarabyeyev presented a report on academic mobility in Spain on the basis of the Laboratory of Parasitology of the Institute of Research and Food Analysis at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Universidad de Santiago de Compostela). From September 2, 2016 till March 2, 2017, he was involved in research and carried out an advanced training according to the program "Erasmus Mundus MEDEA".

Workshop on international internships held for biology students
At the Faculty of Biology of ZNU was held a meeting for the students of 3-5 courses with the professor of the Department of park and garden establishment and genetics of plants, Candidate of Biological Sciences Hanna Levchuk, who from Dec 2014 (with breaks) was undertaking an internship in Portugal for the project “Erasmus Mundus Partnerships – Electra Project”.

At the Faculty of Biology of ZNU during February was held a series of measures as part of the I-th stage of Ukrainian Student Olympiad on biological trends in the 2015-2016 academic year. A ZNU held the first regional stage of All-Ukrainian Junior Academy of Sciences
On December 6 at ZNU held traditional stage of All-Ukrainian Junior Academy of Sciences. Took part in it about 600 high school students - pupils of 9-11 forms of secondary schools. Zaporizhzhya region (Polohy, Guliaipole, Tokmak, Kushuhum, Novokaterynivka etc.). Contestants written tests in different fields regional stage of the competition JAS - protecting scientific works, scheduled to take place in February 2016.
