On October 22 at Zaporizhzhya National University held a meeting, dedicated to defining the candidates who will participate in this year's competition "Student of the Year". Organizer of university and faculty stage of competition at ZNU is the Department of Educational Work of Zaporizhzhya National University. The competition is supported by the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration.
The Faculty of Management of Zaporizhzhya National University hold a workshop on "Careers. Step to the Meeting". The event was a part of the NGO "Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship and Local Development ''My Job'", acting at this Faculty.
Recently in Zaporizhzhya City Council has awarded the young scientists - winners of projects in energy saving and energy efficiency among students. Up to nine projects of students of urban universities of the 2nd-4th accreditation level recognized the best, among which the Faculty of Management undergraduate work of Zaporizhzhya National University Anton Mandrykin.
Due to the efforts of trade union committee of Zaporizhzhya National University, about 300 students of our university were able to visit free of charge XVII Film Festival ''Zaporizhzhya sinerama'' and VI film festival "Young Cinema". In these events took part over 50 participants from Kyiv, Odessa, Dneprodzerzhinsk, Zaporizhzhya and other cities of Ukraine and foreign directors and screenwriters.
One of the most important indicators of the rating of Higher Education Institutions is the number of students-winners of All-Ukrainian contests of student scientific works and All-Ukrainian Olympiads. In 2015 17 students of ZNU winners of the second stage of All-Ukrainian contest of student scientific works, and also 14 won prizes in the second stage of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad.
On 17-24 May in the framework of international academic exchange program Mevlyana, Associate Professor of Business Administration and International Management Department Larysa Brodskya, Yevgeniya Makazan and Iryna Ganza were with a working visit at the University of Çukurova (Adana, Turkey).

Head of the Department of park and garden establishment and genetics of plants, professor Viktor Liakh returned from the University of Chukurov, which is among the five of the best Higher Educational Institutions in Turkey. He met with the leadership, teachers and postgraduates students of the Faculty of Biology of the foreign university. Also Viktor Liakh made a presentation about the main scientific achievements of the Department of park and garden establishment and genetics of plants of the Faculty of Biology of ZNU.
