18th FINA World Championship is taking place in the Korean city of Kvandzhau. Ukraine is represented at the competitions by 29 athletes in four types: artistic swimming, diving, swimming and swimming in open water. Among them is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of ZNU, Zaporizhzhia athlete Sergey Frolov.

European Canoe Kayak Marathon Championships  has started  in Europe in the city of Decize (France). Zaporizhzhia National University at the competition was brilliantly presented by a master student of a second course of the Faculty of Physical Education, European and world champion in canoeing and Liudmyla Babak.

A graduate of the Zaporizhzhya National University, a famous Zaporizhzhya athlete Marina Chernyak (weight category up to 48 kg) won the bronze medal at the Budapest Grand Prix (Hungary) in judo.

From August 5 to September 20, Zaporizhzhia National University announces the admission of documents to graduate school to obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and the doctoral program to obtain the degree of Doctor of Science.

Popular information educational resource "Osvita.ua" released a consolidated rating of higher educational institutions of Ukraine of 2019. Zaporizhzhia national University has once again confirmed its high status and considerable scientific and educational potential. ZNU entered the TOP-100 best Ukrainian HEI, taking 56th place in the ranking. Another well-known Zaporizhzhia institution of higher education - National University "Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic" took 157 place in this ranking.

Since July 10, College of Economics and Law, College of Commerce, Metallurgical College, the Hydropower College of Zaporizhzhia National University began accepting applications and documents for applicants who want to get full-time and part-time education based on full secondary education (based on 11 grades). Therefore, all applicants can apply for their chosen specialties.

Recently, the ceremony of awarding the regional prize "Sports Pride of Zaporizhzhia” has been held on the basis of the Sport Palace "Yunist". This competition was founded by the Association of Sports Organizations with the support of the Department of Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the regional state administration.

The admission campaign of 2019 continues at Zaporizhzhia National University.  Registration of electronic applications of enrollers has begun. So, today already over 6,000 applications have been registered from applicants who want to study on the first course of bachelor degree.
