On June 6, the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhia National University organized a round table discussion "European Values in Journalism during the War". The online meeting was held within the framework of the Erasmus+ JMM EU-Indy project "European media standards and values of independent journalism in the post-truth era" and Erasmus+ KA2 project DESTIN.





On the US Constitution and ways of combating corruption in the country told to Law Faculty students of ZNU Kenneth Bernhard, senior advisor to the law firm "Cohen and Wolf" in Bridgeport (Connecticut, USA). Within a week he taught in the Ukrainian capital, and yesterday, on the 20th of April he attended Zaporizhzhya National University with the lecture. The visit took place as a part of the academic program of the Center for International Legal Studies (Salzburg, Austria).
Confucius Institute will start work at ZNU in less than a year. The delegation of Anhui Pedagogical University agreed with the administration of ZNU during a visit to our university last week. Ukrainian and Chinese universities signed an agreement on cooperation, which besides the opening Confucius Institute also provides for the development of mutually beneficial joint projects in the fields of education and science.
Today hold a meeting of ZNU Rector Mykola Frolov with US media expert Mark Dillen, who visited ZNU in the international academic exchange programs, Fulbright. During the last week Mr Dillen lectured at the Faculty of Journalism, telling students about his experience as a journalist, diplomat and owner of an organization that provides advice on public relations.
Last week at the Faculty of Social Science and Administration of Zaporizhzhya National University held a media day during which presented the results of a study on local community development on the example of Zaporizhzhya region. Research carried out by the Scientific Resource Centre of ZNU Sustainable Development and the Independent Sociological Research Centre of ZNU under the joint EU / UNDP project "Local Development CBA". Participants also learned about establishing effective cooperation with the media area. They also participated in media training.
Recently, the Oriental Institute of the Adam Mickiewicz University, International Initiatives Support Centre (Poznan, Poland) completed competition for the best analytical text about social transformation, culture, politics, economics, international relations and modern history of Ukraine. The organizers said that the first place took the analytical work of Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Social Science and Administration of ZNU Maksym Lepskyi.
