The Faculty of Law of ZNU (Zaporizhia National University) cooperate productively with Association of women-lawyers of Ukraine «Law firm», which is one of the first Associations of women-lawyers in Ukraine and it aims to become a platform for the exchange of experience, development and support of women in the legal career.

Competitions in Olympic taekwondo were held in Luxembourg from 14 to 16 June.  More than 1,000 athletes from around the world took part in this international ranking tournament. A second-year student of the Faculty of Law of Zaporizhzhia National University, Taras Malchenko, won a bronze medal after three fights. The athlete successfully completed two fights with a significant difference, but only in the semifinals he lost to an athlete from Germany in a stubborn struggle.

Second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers of the specialty “Transport technologies (according to types of transport) Transport Law” took place in Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University on April 27. Students of Zaporizhzhia National University Denys Sokolenko and Dmytro Boloban took part in public defense of scientific work on the topic “Legal regulation of parking and storage of vehicles in Ukraine, current state and prospects for improvement” (supervisor - Doctor of Law, Professor Tetiana Kolomoiets).

From March 19 to 24, Kharkiv hosted the Ukrainian Championship in Olympic taekwondo (BT), which was attended by more than 800 participants.  Zaporizhzhia National University was represented by a second year student of the Faculty of Law Taras Malchenko.

On February 19-24, Egyptian city of Hurghada hosted the international rating tournament on Taekwondo (VT) Egypt Open G-2. The competition was attended by a second-year student of the Law Faculty of the Zaporizhzhia National University Taras Malchenko (coach - Andrii Yakovliev).

On February 12, ceremonial events were held on the occasion of awarding diplomas to graduates-masters of the Faculty of Law of ZNU. Documents on higher education received about 200 masters.

On February 7, Zaporizhzhia National University was visited by Svitlana Hlushchenko, Deputy Minister of Justice for Executive Service issues, accompanied by Serhii Vasyltsov, Head of the Main Territorial Department of Justice in Zaporizhzhia Region. The honored guests met with the first vice-rector Oleksandr Bondar, as well as with the dean of the law faculty Tetiana Kolomoiets, professors and students.

The graduate students in the specialty “Law” continue to present their diploma paper on the Law Faculty of ZNU. This year, about a hundred people successfully presented their scientific work in Ukrainian, English and Polish.

On December 7 a scientific-practical conference "The current state and prospects of development of land, agricultural, environmental and natural resource law: theory and practice" took place in the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University The conference was organized by the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Ecological League.
