Video meeting "Nearness in Times of Distance" took place, during which representatives of Universities in five countries shared their professional and personal experiences on the situation of the coronavirus pandemic and quarantine. All participants of the event are long-term partners of Zaporizhzhia National University (ZNU).

The All-Ukrainian festival of games, learning and inspiration took place on April 20 in the sports complex of Zaporizhzhia National University. Its goal was the development of creative, architectural, design skills and communication skills of children through team work on a joint project. The main task that was set by the organizers was to uncover the theme by building a model from the LEGO designer and presenting the project directly at the festival.

On March 30, the first graduation of the listeners of the courses “Psychological and pedagogical support of children and young people with special needs in an inclusive educational environment” took place, which were organized on the basis of the postgraduate education center of Zaporizhzhia National University. Certificates of professional development of pedagogical workers were awarded by the program manager Yevhenii Klopotа, doctor of psychological sciences, professor of the Department of pedagogy and psychology of educational activities, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine.

Festival of pedagogical ideas for educational therapists is a significant event that took place on the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of ZNU at the end of last week. The festival organizers are “Academy of talented leaders” and the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology. They invited about 270 guests; almost all of them were educators. The participants were representatives of different professions such as teachers, educators, psychologists, social teachers, educational therapists, speech therapists, etc.

Recently, students of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of the course “theater art” have returned from Belgium.  On February 20-23, the International Festival of University Theater RITU took place in the city of Liege. It is known as the largest oldest forum in the world that gathers participants from different countries. The main task of the project is the development of theatrical education and the creative process at the university level.  The project finals included the work of students of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology - a choreographic presentation based on the motif of the play by Friedrich Schiller “Intrigue and Love”.

At the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology, the III (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Pedagogy and Psychology took place. The event was attended by 44 pupils of schools in Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia region (Berdiansk, Melitopol, Enerhodar, Huliaipole, Prymorsk, Pryazovie, Yakymivka and others). For many pupils, participation in the Olympiad in pedagogy and psychology has already become a good tradition. Moreover, this Olympiad had been held 4 times before at the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of Zaporizhzhia National University.

The other day at Zaporizhzhia National University on the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology, a choreographic performance based on the play of Friedrich Schiller's «Kabale und Liebe» took place. The creative work of students of the specialty “Stage art” (choreographer - Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor Yuliana Honcharenko) was appreciated by everyone. The leading roles in the performance were performed by Yuliia Prylutska, Yurii Titov, Anastasiia Liashychenko, Kostiantyn Kuzmin, Andrii Kasianov, Maksym Moiseienko, Anna Tkach, Olha Basko, Dmytro Fediukin, Viktoriia Kabashko, Mykhailo Ozerov.

On February 11, a solemn evening on the occasion of the award of diplomas to graduates of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of Zaporizhzhia National University took place in the 8 academic building. In total this year the faculty prepared 220 masters. 55 of them received diplomas with honors. By the way, this year the first graduation of the specialty “Performing art” took place.

On January 21, a discussion on legislative changes in the field of preventing and combating domestic violence took place in Zaporizhzhia. During the event, a presentation of social videos aimed at recognizing and combating various types of domestic violence, created by the public organization “Trap” with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation took place.  Participation in the event was taken by the head of the Center for Gender Education on the basis of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology, Associate Professor Tetiana Holovanova.
