ZNU Student Won Silver at Judo World Championship
The student of the Department of Physical Education Marina Chernyak won silver in the women category at the Judo World Championship, which took place on January 29th-30th in Bulgaria. The Ukrainian team won one silver, one bronze, and four of the 5th places, and as a result was 7th among 32 countries.

The photo correspondent of Zaporizhzhya National University Vasyl Bychenko has got the diploma of 3rd level of the All-Ukrainian Sport Photography Contest of National Olympic Committee. The awarding ceremony took place in Kiev, where on January 28th the NOC President Sergiy Bubka handed prizes to the winners.
At the World Championship in Track and Field Athletics for Disabled Athletes, which is taking place in New Zealand from January, 26 to January, 31, the representative of Zaporizhzhya Company Invasport, the senior of the ZNU Department of History Maria Pomazan made the world record in putting the shot.
On January 25th the bright party devoted to the unofficial Student Day was organized in the Concert Hall Tatiana's Day. Zaporizhzhya Mayor Olexandr Sin, Deputy Mayor Yurii Kaptyukh, and Head of The Committee of Youth and Sport of City Council Igor Philipenko visited the celebration.
On January 21st within the School of Pedagogic Mastery the faculty staff of the Chair of Pedagogy and Psychology organized the round table Improving of the Pedagogic Mastery of The Teacher of Higher Educational Establishment.
