Today another seminar for biology and chemistry teachers from Zaporizhzhyan region was held at ZNU Faculty of Biology. Senior lecturer from the Department of Didactics and Methods of Teaching Natural and Mathematical Courses (Regional Institute for Postgraduate Pedagogic Education) S. Dekhtiarenko highlighted the issues of the didactic learning process on natural sciences and the importance of interaction between teachers and scholars aimed at achieving mutual goal – shaping school students’ personality ready for all challenges of modern society.

October 3, Faculty of Economics Students held a concert dedicated to the Teachers' Days. Event organizers – members of the faculty's Student Council – congratulated their lecturers on the professional holiday, thanked them for tireless work and presented the vocal and dance numbers.

September 29, ZNU Rector, Professor, PhD in historical studies Mykola Frolov had a meeting with university Student Council. During the meeting, the head of the university Student Council Andriy Bondarenko put forward a proposition to create the student public order squad and the student organization which going to help students and defend their rights.

The Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies congratulate Makovetska Natalia on her successful doctoral dissertation defense and Omelyanenko Galina on her successful Ph.D.c. thesis defense.

September 20-23, ІV World Junior Wushu Championship were held in Macau (China). The representatives from 40 countries participated in various kinds of this sport: gunshu, daoshu, duilian, qiangshu. The student of the 2-nd course ZNU College of Economics and Law (specialty: "Physical Education") Tetyana Kondrateva has defended the honor of the Ukraine national wushu team.
