July 25 the head of Department of Olympic and Professional Sports, Ph.D., associate professor Andriy Svatiev by the Decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych № 392/2013 was awarded the medal "For Labour and Victory" and "for significant contribution to the development of student sports training world-class athletes, ensure high sports results of the national team of Ukraine on XXVII World summer Universiade in Kazan".
July 25 Zaporizhzhya athletes, graduates of ZNU Alexander Nadtoka and Sergiy Frolov by the Decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych № 392/2013 awarded the Order "For merits" of III degree "for the achievement of high sports results on XXVII World Summer Universiade in Kazan shown by the dedication and the will to victory, raising the international prestige of Ukraine".

As of July 26 to Zaporizhzhya National University applied over 14,000 applications: EQL "Bachelor" - about 9800 (full-time study) and 465 (part-time study); EQL "specialist" and "master" - about 3,200 applications (full-and part-time forms of education) on the senior courses applied around 500 applications.
At the height of the summer season in almost all buildings of ZNU undergo renovations on modernization and heat insulation of premises and buildings. Meanwhile Maintenance and Supply staff is working on campus organization and on technical upgrading of the University.
