October 31 during a ceremonial meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Philology of ZNU, representatives of the administration and colleagues congratulated the honorable anniversaries - professor of Ukrainian Literature Department Vitalii Shevchenko (concerning a fortieth anniversary of his creative and educational activities) and associate professor of Ukrainian Language Department Ihor Lipkevych (55th anniversary of birthday).
October 30 at the Faculty of History of ZNU began ten days dedicated the key moments of the historical development of Europe during the twentieth century. As part of the exhibition "The dictatorship and democracy in the age of extremes", prepared by the Munich Institute for Contemporary History, radio "Deutschlandradio Kultur" Research Foundation and the Federal dictatorship of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany. Materials were kindly provided by the German Embassy in Ukraine.
On the basis of the Faculty of Physics of ZNU was held a Round Table discussion for physics teachers of Zaporizhzhya schools on: "Development of physical ability to solve the problem in the context of preparations for the SAS".
Recently, student volunteers of the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University orthodox orphanage "Nadiia" (Hope) of Zaporizhzhya Eparchy of the UOC and gave its pupils a real holiday.
Today in Zaporizhzhya National University at the Faculty of Management began two-day All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference "Problems of regional economic potential". It was organized by Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, Zaporizhzhya City Council, Zaporizhzhya National University, Donetsk State University of Management and Zaporizhzhya Trade and Industry Chamber.
October 30 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held a workshop on "European education programs for youth" in which wished to participate 60 students of our university. Organized by the Students' Council of ZNU, German Culture Youth Center "Zammelzurium" with the support of ZNU International Relations Department. Partners of the event - the German Academic Exchange Service, Kharkiv NGO "MultiKultiUA", Goethe-Institut in Ukraine and the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Donetsk.
October 29 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University was held All-Ukrainian scientific readings on "Actual problems of preparing future actors: theory and practice". Its aim is to attract researchers and practitioners to discuss and solve the problems of training future actors.
October 29 at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine held a roundtable discussion on the development of standards of legal education, organized by the Ministry of Education and the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine.
