November 17 in Zaporizhia city administration was held a traditional celebration of the International Srudents' Day and awarding the best students of city. The hosts of the event were students of ZNU, studio presenters, participants of "STEM-MS" of Cultural Center of ZNU - Denys Bilokon and Kateryna Domina.

November 14 Journalism Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University celebrated its first anniversary - 10 years since its foundation. The gala event brought together teachers, students, alumni of the Faculty of Journalism, as well as honored guests.

November 14, on the eve of International Students' Day in Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration has awarded the winners of the regional competition "Student of the Year 2014", and scholarship holders ZRSA. Among the recipients were representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University.

In an extraordinary report and election conference of the Historical Faculty elected Head of the Students' Council of the Faculty. For the right to occupy the post of Faculty, struggled students Maksym Kasian and Kateryna Cherniak. Protocol at the event were registered 34 persons during registration received their credentials.

November 14 Faculty of Law team of volunteers of Zaporizhzhya National University visited the children's boarding school "Svitanok". During the meeting, the students told the children about the importance of knowing their history, appreciate their country and be its patriots.

November 14 at the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University with the support of Dean Tetiana Kolomoiets held a round table discussion on "Peculiarities of criminal proceedings in cases related to war crimes". The round table organizers were the Faculty of Law of ZNU, Zaporizhzhya regional center providing secondary legal aid, the Association of Advocates of Ukraine, ILF "Yaroslav Grishin and partners".

On November 14, during his working visit to Zaporizhzhya National University the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Donetsk Mr. Detlef Voltaire met with students and teachers of our university. During the event, the guest of honor not only spoke about the attitude of the EU member countries to the situation in eastern Ukraine, on possible areas of cooperation with our government and his vision of its future, but also answered all the questions that troubled present at the event.

On November 14, a regular meeting of the debate club on "The peculiarities of criminal cases consideration in the courts of first instance: the experience of foreign countries" was held at the Law Faculty of Zaporizhia National University. This time the guests of the event included professor of the Liverpool Law School Kiron Reid and barrister Frances Wilmot, who were currently visiting our university and agreed to tell our students about the features of the judicial system of Great Britain.

November 11, Faculty of Economics met with the chief economist of retail department of JSC "Ukreksimbank" Nataliya Vinychenko. The theme of the meeting was dedicated to World Savings Day, which is celebrated since 1924, when the first International Congress of savings banks.
