Today is held a regular working meeting of the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov with Student Government of the university. University leadership and students discussed issues related to education reform, pressing economic problems of the university.

September 26 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held an interactive conference on the NATO-Ukraine relations on "Enhancing security through cooperation". The conference was attended by Advisor of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Parkhomenko, Head of the Ukrainian-Slovak Partnership Center Mykhailo Kolibabchuk, leader of the NGO "Ukrainian Business" Ihor Artiushenko, Acting Vice-Rector for Science and Research Hennadii Vasylchuk and students of Economics, Law and Journalism Faculties.

September 25, about 90 members of information tour "Zaporizhzhya - the city of tourist" visited Museum of Natural Sciences of Zaporizhzhya National University. Also, Heads of educational work of Zaporizhzhya region schools, which organized tour of eminent places of the city, visited the presentation of two attractive tourist sites of our university: Ukrainian chamber and the Museum of History and Development of ZNU.

September 25 in Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhya National University was summing up the traditional week of foreign languages devoted to celebration of 13th anniversary of the European Day of Languages.

On the basis of ZNU Foreign Languages Study Center will start annual language courses for teachers. As in the previous year, the language groups will operate as a fee and for free - as part of the Pedagogic Mastery School. More than 100 teachers of our university have expressed a desire to learn (or improve) a foreign language, more than 70 of them will be able to study for free.
