Extramural Master's degree course in educational program "Project Management" has been opened at the Faculty of Economics. During the admission in 2017, it is possible to enter the master’s degree program on the basis of the bachelor degree or the educational qualification level of specialist.

Recently the 72nd "Startup Battle" has been held in ZNU. For the second time the University held a competitive selection of the best ideas and economically justified business plans that had a chance to get the funding from the organizers. Zaporizhzhya National University was represented by the Vice-Rector for Educational Research and Academic Affairs Oleksandr Hura and the Head of the Department of Project Activities Nataliya Kovalenko.

The representatives of the Faculty of Economics took part in the III Scientific Symposium "Ukraine-Poland – synergetic cooperation", which was held during February 13-17 in three Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Poltava and Slavyansk. Zaporizhzhya National University was one of its organizers.

The Ukrainian Catholic University in cooperation with the USAID Program to reform the justice sector "New Justice" continues a series of lectures UCU "Rule of Law Lecture Series" of the leading American and European lawyers devoted to the actual challenges and problems in the field of consolidation of the rule of law, justice and fairness. The organizers provide the opportunity for everyone interested to join the audience online. It should be noted that the students of the Faculty of Law of ZNU are the permanent members of such international events.
