In early July, an international conference on reforms in Ukraine began in Toronto (Canada).  Within the framework of the conference, the “Ukrainian House” is a unique platform where, in order to broaden the interest of Canadian businessmen in Ukraine, our country’s achievements in various fields are presented.

On July 3, the first graduation of bachelors of the Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University took place in a solemn atmosphere in the conference hall of Engineering Institute.

Recently, ceremonial presentation of diplomas to graduates of the metallurgical, electromechanical and transport departments has taken place in the Zaporizhzhia Metallurgical College of Zaporizhzhia National University.

The project “Partnership for Modernization: Energy Efficiency in Hospitals” is being implemented in Ukraine with the support of the German company «Deutsthe Gesellschait fur Intemationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH».

Every year, students from all over the world are happy to take part in various competitions. You can select competitions aimed at obtaining grants for training, inventions, etc.  Students of ZNU were informed about the contest “Being smart is trendy” from the company Open Media Group.  It is one of the leading Internet companies in Eastern Europe, operating in more than 10 countries.

Today the profession of a programmer is considered one of the most prestigious in Ukraine and in the world. The popularity of IT technologies is evidenced by an increased competition for computer specialties in all higher educational institutions of the country.

Meetings with graduate students always inspire students and professors of the Software Engineering Department of automated systems. Dmytro Lipai visited the students of the specialty “Software Engineering” of the Engineering Institute of ZNU.  During the meeting, Dmytro demonstrated how a graduate programmer can achieve career success in any country in the world after graduating from Institute of Engineering.

Recently, a meeting of the Regional Development Council of Zaporizhzhia region has been held in the exhibition complex "Kozak-Palace". The event was attended by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Kostiantyn Bryl, chairman of the regional council Hryhorii Samardak, and mayor of the city Volodymyr Buriak. The Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University was represented by the Chairman of the Certification Commission for the professional certification of persons who intend to carry out activities for the certification of energy efficiency Serhii Ilin.
