Valery Baranov, the director of ZNU sports club, yesterday was rewarded with two distinctions - from Zaporizhzhya regional state administration and Zaporizhzhya branch of National Olympic committee of Ukraine.
Dear Antoninu Mykhajlivnu Kurokhtinu, the Person from the big letter which has devoted all life to Zaporizhzhya National University, she is the teacher and the tutor of many colleagues and students, the woman who carries beauty, love, happiness and pleasure of communication, the department of the second foreign language and all the Faculty of Foreign Philology congratulate with anniversary! 
During May holidays teachers and students of the Faculties of Philology and Journalism visited the Center of folk art «Petrykivka» in the village of the same name in Dnipropetrovsk region.
The faculty of Physics celebrated the 19th anniversary very greatly. Within the limits of the week celebrating such actions took place: all Ukrainian Olympiad, holiday concert, brain-ring, competition on football and many others. The faculty of Physics expressed gratitude for support in the organization of the actions to ZNU trade union committee.
The third year the Day of Europe at city level is successively celebrated at Zaporizhzhya National University. This time the program of the holiday was not less sated than the last years. On May, 16th ZNU guests had an opportunity to see the bright concert program, to visit presentations of the countries - members of EU, to visit book exhibition from ZNU Scientific library, photo-exhibition "Warsaw from height of eagle flight" and round table discussion concerning the European integration.
