There have been already two money transfers made since the Department of Foreign Languages won the grant for the opening the American Studies Resource Center in ZNU. This year Francis Westbrook came to ZNU to hold the seminar for the university teachers and explore how the literature, dictionaries, technical equipment bought thanks to the grant have been being used. Besides this the attaché visited the final exam in Pedagogic Practice taken by the graduate students of the Department
The graduate students of Philological Department prepared for the freshmen the presentation of the second volume of the Illustrated Encyclopedia of Ukraine Culture , which was published in 2009. It is the book written by the famous philosopher, historian, the director of the G. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of National Academy of Science Myroslav Popovych. 
The faculty staff of the Zaporizhzhya National University congratulates the employees of the ZNU Scientific Library with the National Libraries Day! 
It is the second time Zaporizhzhya National University hosts the International Seminar Cooperation of the Nuclear Particles and Clusters With the Solid Body Surface. It is devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Department, and the 80th anniversary of the University. Ukrainian, Russian, and Belorussian scientists came to participate in the seminar.
The Philological Department's sophomores majoring in Ukrainian and Russian Studies reported about their folklore internship, which had had place at Ternopil region last summer. 
It is the 19th year the Department of Economics of ZNU prepare the high level specialists in economics and finance. The students and alumni gathered to celebrate together during the Department's Week.
