What will happen to the profession of a journalist in future? What skills today's journalist should get to be competitive? The traditional media in future. What will it be? ZNU students of the Faculty of Journalism were trying to find the answers on these and other questions during the roundtable "Journalist of the Future: Tomorrow has Come Today" which took place on November 27, 2012.
The students of the Faculty of Journalism conducted the debates dedicated to the Human Rights Day which is celebrated annually across the world on 10 December. The event was organized by Zaporizhzhya Regional Charitable Foundation "Gender Zed" and ZNU Faculty of Journalism.
From 19 to 23 of August there on the Journalism Faculty lasted competition “The most clever freshmen” and “The most clever bachelor”, in which took part about 150 students. For freshmen Scientific association of students and graduates of the Faculty prepared special tasks: tests, mini-essay, oral answers, and on the final stage – essay on the free subject.
November 19 in TV studio of Zaporizhzhya National University “Univerce-TV” of educational laboratory of journalism of Journalism Creativity, Advertisement and Public Relations Chair there was held a pres-conference with the graduate student of our University, the journalist of the program “Lady Land” of “M1” TV channel with Jana Polska.
November 12, the roundtable on "Internet Radio: Realities and Prospects" on occasion of the 15 anniversary of student internet radio station "Universe" was held at ZNU Faculty of Journalism. Students, lecturers, station's staff, radio journalists and public figures of our city gathered for the discussion.
October 25,. th presentation of the debut poetry collection "Pleasure of Apparent Death" by Zaporizhzhyan poet and journalist Oles Barlig took place at ZNU.
Students of the Faculty of Journalism has created their own "Alley of Journalists" planted conifer trees - juniper "Hybernyka", spruce "Konik" and others together with their lecturers.
Today the third round of the "Freshman Dancing Flash Mob 2012" was held at ZNU. The teams of the Faculties of Journalism, Mathematics and Physical Education presented thier performances. The first-year students again managed to surprise the audience and judges with their original dance productions. We remind that event organizers - ZNU Center for Cultural Work and Student Council.
