November 13-15 at the National Center for business and cultural cooperation "Ukrainian House" (Kyiv) is the International Specialized Exhibition "Education and Career - Students' Day 2014", whose participants are 50 Ukrainian universities.
Zaporizhzhya National University received a Grand Prix in the category "Competence approach in the educational activities of the high school". The awards ceremony was held today, 13 November. One of the first meeting of this academic year, "School of philological sciences for teachers of Ukrainian language and literature, Russian language and world literature" has collected over hundreds of mid-level education. The event was organized jointly by the Philological Faculty of ZNU and Information-analytical Methodological Center of the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Zaporizhzhya City Council.
Fourthly for school teachers representatives of the Faculty of Economics of ZNU conduct practice-oriented seminar on the topic: "Methods of intensification of the educational process in teaching economic subjects for pupils of schools" and "Application of innovative technologies at the Economics Faculty of ZNU". An indicator of the development of relations between our university and secondary schools, as well as the growing interest of the school community to innovative educational technologies is that the current event was attended by teachers not only schools of our city, but also Zaporizhzhya region.
November 12 at the Historical Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University were held debates between candidates to head the Student Council of the Faculty. For it competing two candidates, 3rd year student Maksym Kasian and 2nd year student Kateryna Cherniak.
November 12 in Sports complex of Zaporizhzhya National University was opened the first round of the traditional Cup of mini-football, dedicated to the memory of former Rector of ZNU (1984-2003), professor, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional Branch of the Academy of Sciences Education of Ukraine, Honored Scientist of Ukraine Viacheslav Tolok.
At the Faculty of History of ZNU vocational work carried out in several areas, much of it carried out by students. This academic year the new line-up career-oriented student group included head of the Scientific Community of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Candidates and Young Researchers Svitlana Liuta and student activists of senior courses Halyna Bokii, Oleksandr Horielov, Mariia Horelyk, Anastasiia Hretchenko, Kateryna Lysko, Vadym Suprunenko, Roman Pruhlo and others.
November 12 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology was held by secret ballot election of the new Head of the Students' Council of the Faculty. As a result of the counting of votes won Yevhenii Rybakov, gaining 128 votes. For his rival Lidiia Sarhsian voted 29 people. Overall, the election was attended by 157 registered delegates.
