27 May at the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University was held a roundtable on "Prospects for European reforms in Ukraine: internal capacity and experience of the neighbors". The event was organized "Democratic initiatives named after Ilko Kucheriv" (Kyiv) and the Institute for Public Affairs (Bratislava, Slovakia) and the Institute for Public Affairs (Warsaw, Poland).

May 22 at Zaporizhzhya National University, a presentation of the student association "Printed", whose goal is to promote reading literature in Zaporizhzhya. Event was organized by teachers of the Faculty of Journalism: Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Inna Abramova and Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Nataliia Tiapkina.
May 21 the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University visited the director of the publishing house "Duliby", member of the Union of Writers of Ukraine, winner of the Grand Prix of the literary contest "Coronation of the word", member of the Canadian Union of ethnologists, writer, D.Sc. in History, Ph.D. in Philology Maryna Hrymych. Event organizers - representatives of the Department of Journalism and Scientific Library of ZNU.
The last school bell for the fourth graduation ceremony of the School of the young journalist rang on May 20. To congratulate graduates came Head of Zaporizhzhya regional organization of NSZHU Nataliia Kuzmenko, Ukraine's deputy Yevgen Kartashov assistant Boris Rozsokha and Dean of the Faculty of Journalism of ZNU Volodymyr Manakin and experienced journalist, teacher of ZNU Yurii Botner.
May 16 the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University visited ZNU graduate, Head of advertising agency Serhii Machyhin. The event was held at the initiative of the Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Inna Abramova.
In late April, the world marked the sad date - the 28th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Therefore, on May 6 Journalism Faculty students of Zaporizhzhya National University participated in a meeting with witnesses and participants of liquidation the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. It should be noted that such events are hold on the Faculty for the first time.
