June 24 during a meeting of the Academic Council of Zaporizhzhya National University Vice-Rector for Science and Research Victor Gristchak in a solemn atmosphere handed the award of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine of Higher Education - Medal of Laureate of St Vladimir's Honorary Award.
In Zaporizhzhya National University completed this year's session of External independent testing, which lasted through June on the basis of our university. We remind, that this time on the basis of ZNU were 6 sessions of EIT: the Ukrainian language and literature; foreign language (English, German, French, Spanish); the Russian language; mathematics and geography. In general, the testing was attended by about 2100 entrants.
In Zaporizhzhya National University also in the summer, during the time of holidays and vacations, continuing efforts aimed at streamlining and improvement of the campus. So, June 19, between the 1st academic building and the sports complex of our university began preparations for upgrading asphalt pavement between the buildings.
In an important time for our country the inhabitants of Zaporizhzhya region demonstrate a balanced and active citizenship. In particular, they are actively participating in the purchase of of treasury bills "Military" means of implementation which will be used to support the Ukrainian army.
June 3 in Ukraine started regular season of External independent testing for high school graduates in 2014. Substantive session of External independent testing in 2014 began with examination of foreign language (English, German, French, Spanish). Like many years running, EIT point in our city was expanded and on the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University. So, yesterday our university visited 300 future students.
