Today, during the sessionFirst Vice-Rector of ZNU, Head of Department of Civil Law Oleksandr Bondar is awarded with certificate of merit from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Decree of MES of Ukraine №191-k from 05.14.2014). With the formulation "For many years of hard work and significant contribution in the training of highly qualified specialists and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity" with a personal signature of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Kvit.

13 September in Culture and Recreation Park "Oak Grove" was a massive celebration of the Day of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, during which were awarded diplomas our sportsmen, including students of Zaporizhzhya National University.

September 12-14, the Department of Information Technology of the Faculty of Mathematics of Zaporizhzhya National University conducted a second round of All-Ukrainian students' programming Olympiad in the South. For the title of best in the field of knowledge competing 22 teams from leading universities of Nikolaev, Odessa, Zaporizhzhya, Melitopol and Berdyansk.

Students of the Faculty of Law of 2nd-3rd years of Zaporizhzhya National University and SCSP, problematic student scientific research team conducted a series of round table discussions involving Faculty researchers.

With the support of the leadership of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Dean of the Faculty Halyna Moroshkina and active cooperation of the Department of Romance Philology with the Embassy of France in Ukraine, assistant professor of the Department of Teaching Second Language Maryna Trofymenko, was able to go through professional training «Cours de Didactique du Français Langue Etrangère» for French teachers from Ukraine to Paul Verlaine's University in the city of Metz, France (Université de Paul Verlain-Metz, Lorrain).

September 12 in Zaporizhzhya held peace march - public action to support peace initiatives of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The action, which gathered about 15 thousand participants attended the regional and city administrations, leading Zaporizhzhya enterprises and institutions, NGOs and educational institutions. In particular, in it actively participated representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University - First Vice-Rector Oleksandr Bondar, Vice-Rector for Educational Research Volodymyr Volkov, Acting Vice-Rector for Science and Research Hennadii Vasylchuk, Rector’s Assistant on Educational Work Nataliya Voronova, deans, teachers, staff and students of our university.
