This year to general ecological reserve of national importance "Dnipro rapids" is 40 years. With this occasion, November 1 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held a scientific conference with the participation of teachers and students of ZNU, of Zaporizhzhya school students, members of the National Reserve "Khortytsya" and Zaporizhzhya regional center of tourism and local history, sports and excursions for students.

Last week at the Faculty of History was held a students' scientific conference and the first meeting of the film club. Events were devoted to landmark date - Ukraine's liberation from the Nazi occupation (October 28, 1944, in the course of the Carpathian-Uzhgorod offensive was finally liberated in the current borders of Ukraine). The event initiated by the Department of Modern History of Ukraine and the Scientific Community of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Candidates and Young Scientists of the Faculty of History of ZNU.

October 23 at the Economics Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University started IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Challenges and prospects of development of the new economy in the world, national and regional levels", which involved more than 400 students and scholars, among them - 142 guests from different cities of Ukraine.

October 14-16 in Kyiv was held the 3rd International Medical Congress "Implementation of modern advances in medical science in the practice of health in Ukraine" and international medical forum "Innovations in medicine - health of the nation". During these events, continued the work of the Ukrainian School Lab. This year's workshops of laboratory schools were invited not only experts in the field of Laboratory diagnostics, but also university students of medical and biological specialties.

October 17 in ZNU was held a meeting of the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference of students and young scientists "Gender Education in the Modern University: Experience, Problems and Prospects", which will be held October 22-23 in Kryvyi Rih Pedagogical Institute.

October 17 on the basis of the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University was held the All-Ukrainian Conference "Sixth Novitsky reading". The conference was attended by scientists from the south-eastern region: from Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson, Berdyansk, Melitopol, Mariupol, Yalta, Simferopol, Zaporizhzhya and Kyiv.

October 17-18 in Zaporizhzhya National University continues the VII International scientific conference "Foreign language and literature in the XXI century". This time to participate in the prestigious scientific meeting came 180 applications from England, Russia, France and Ukraine. The event was attended by both well-known scientists, linguists, and those who are taking the first steps in building a scientific career.

October 9-12 on the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University and Poltava National Technical University named after Yuriy Kondratiuk held International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference "Modern innovative investment mechanisms of development of the national economy".

October 9-10 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of ZNU was held All-Ukrainian theoretical and practical conference of sudents, postgraduates and young scientists "Technologies of the psychologist in the organization." Organizers of the event were Zaporizhzhya National University (Department of Applied Psychology), Institute of Psychology named after HS Kostiuk of NAPS of Ukraine (Organizational Psychology Lab), Eastern National University named after Lesia Ukrainka (Faculty of Psychology).

October 9 at the Philological Faculty began two-days All-Ukrainian scientific conference "Literature and History".
