Recently in Truskawetz was held Wushu Cup of Ukraine. The first national competition of the season brought representatives of Zaporizhzhya region 42 medals - 18 gold, 14 silver and 10 bronze medals. Some sportsmen from Zaporizhzhya National University - Maksym Danchenko, Tetiana Kondratieva and Anna Derbenova, and ZNU graduate Myroslava Mala.
September 26, in the military unit A 1978 was held a final regional military sports competition for labor and student youth "Conscript-2014", organized by the Regional Center of patriotic education of youth and youth administration, physical education and sports of RSA. The competition was part of Zaporizhzhya National University students who have demonstrated good results of military-athletic training and won a bronze medal in the category "Students' youth".
September 19 in sports and recreation complex of Zaporizhzhya National University was solemnly opened sports hall of martial arts and tourist training. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education Mykola Malikov, teachers and students, as well as special guests of the event: Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration Valerii Baranov, Head of the affairs administration of plant "Zaporizhstal", Head of the youth organization of the enterprise Serhiy Ilchenko and the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov.
September 12 in Zaporizhzhya National University was opening ceremony of the 51st sports and athletics meeting, dedicated to the Day of Physical Culture and Sports. The event was organized by sports and recreation complex of ZNU, Students' Council of ZNU and Faculty of Physical Education.
July 3 at the Faculty of Physical Education of Zaporizhzhya National University was solemnly awarding diplomas to graduates who have completed a training program of educational and qualification levels "Master" also "Specialist". This year, the teachers of the Faculty have prepared 173 graduates (specialists - 121, master - 52), among them - 19 students received diplomas cum laude.
During April 8-9, was held four meetings of section "Physical Education" - "Important aspects of Olympic, professional sports and medical-biological problems of physical culture and sport", "Human health and physical rehabilitation", "Important aspects of physical education" and "Recent developments in tourism development" in the conference "Young science".
In order to encourage students to scientific research at the Faculty of Physical Education of ZNU was held a roundtable devoted to the Day of students' science. The main purpose of the event - to reveal the potential of the most talented students who will later be integrated into big science.
