On December 10 as part of a series of scientific events in Economics and Law College of ZNU - "the December readings" - its students took part in the round table "Scientific exploration on the professional discourses foreign language". Organizers of the event were teachers of foreign languages cyclic commission of ELC. The event attended Olena Hrybanova, College director, deputy director for scientific and educational work Olena Artemenko and teachers of English. In addition, the meeting was attended by special guests - Associate Professor of English Philology Olena Luzhanytsia.
During the semester at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University held a meeting with volunteer David McKitryk in the format of «English speaking club». During this time Students of the Faculty of SPP took part in the discussion of various issues. They discussed the features of education system in Ukraine and the United States on volunteering and charitable projects. They also determined the examples of professionals in the field of social community, explored the question of professional self-determination and a career, finding their own path and ourselves.
December 1, Zaporizhzhya National University conducted a quest for 2nd year students of the Faculty of Philology - students of "Psychology". The event was held with representatives of the Department of Pedagogics and Psychology of the Faculty of SPP.
On November 28 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University held a roundtable "Actual Problems of Psychology". Also, the event was attended by students of the Faculty of Philology. The meeting consisted of two parts: first, the participants discussed topical issues of psychological service of education, and defended student research projects of psychological and educational issues.
On October 20 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology conducted psychological training "The Language Café". The main discussion topic of the event was the problem of psychology culture and knowledge in our daily life.
The Faculty of Management of Zaporizhzhya National University hold a workshop on "Careers. Step to the Meeting". The event was a part of the NGO "Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship and Local Development ''My Job'", acting at this Faculty.
With the initiative and support of Dean of the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology, honored worker of Ukraine, Associate Professor at the Faculty Olha Ponomarenko started active cooperation with foreign colleagues up to date for modern Ukrainian society towards trauma psychology. Thus, on September 22 a joint lecture of Ph.D., Clinical Psychology, Andrew Geddert from California (USA) and senior lecturer of the Department of Applied Psychology, Ph.D. in Psychology, Olha Ishchuk on "Trauma: Psychological Peculiarities and Healing".
Last week at the Faculty of Law held a round table on "Criminal legal description of the offenses under Articles 111 and 114 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: the results of scientific research" with Oksana Uzunova, Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Justice Department and 3rd years students of the Faculty.
