During the meeting of Academic Council of ZNU January 27 Vice-Rector for Science and Research Hennadii Vasylchuk made a report, which presented the results of the research activities of our university, and introduced the current problems and prospects of development outlined for 2015.

January 22, chaired by Vice-Rector for Science and Research Hennadii Vasylchuk regular meeting of scientific and technical advice. The participants discussed issues concerning the current situation, problems and prospects for re-inclusion in the international and scientometric databases of scientific publications of the Faculty od Biology (speaker - Head of the Department of Immunology and Biochemistry, Deputy Dean for Research Vira Kopiyka).

January 24 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University conducted an unusual event: public reading plays of young Ukrainian authors.

January 26 in Kiev NSK "Olympic", the first award ceremony of young sporting talent at the age of 18 years on the results of last year "Junior Sports Awards". The first award nominees were winners of the main sporting event last year - the 2nd youthful Olympiad in Nanjing, including student of Economics and Law College of ZNU Yelyzaveta Babii. She was awarded the "Junior Sports Awards" in the nomination "The best record of the year".

Recently was held a regional stage of All-Ukrainian Students' Contest in Chemistry among secondary schools of Zaporizhzhya region. The jury of the event traditionally includes teachers of Zaporizhzhya National University. This time involved in working with students, teachers and assessment Contest Representatives of the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Biology - Faculty Dean Professor Liudmyla Omelianchyk, Professor Oleksandr Brazhko, Associate Professor Tamara Panasenko, Olha Luhanska, Mykhailo Zavhorodnii and Viktoriia Peretiatko.
