Today, September 25, at the faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University begins its two-day International Conference "Underground space, exploration, research, secondary use". The scope of this research collection is unique not only for academic historians of our university, but also for members of all national science. Last week, due to the support of the Department of Sociology of Culture of Lodz University Associate Professor of the Faculty of History of ZNU Iryna Savchenko participated in international conference «ORAL HISTORY IN CENTRAL-EASTERN EUROPE: CURRENT RESEARCH AREAS, CHALLENGES AND SPECIFICITY», held at the University of Lodz (Poland).
With the initiative and support of Dean of the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology, honored worker of Ukraine, Associate Professor at the Faculty Olha Ponomarenko started active cooperation with foreign colleagues up to date for modern Ukrainian society towards trauma psychology. Thus, on September 22 a joint lecture of Ph.D., Clinical Psychology, Andrew Geddert from California (USA) and senior lecturer of the Department of Applied Psychology, Ph.D. in Psychology, Olha Ishchuk on "Trauma: Psychological Peculiarities and Healing".
As part of the received grant UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT PROGRAM 2014-2015 PILOT PROJECT GRANTS, supported by the Carnegie Corporation of New York on the 10th- 16th September, Head of Technology Transfer Center, Natalia Gourzhiy, Professor of Organizational Management and Logistics Department participated in the 4th International scientific-practical conference "Ukraine - Bulgaria - European Union: Current State and Prospects", where presented a report, "The Technological Platform as a Means of Integration of Science and Industry".
September 18 evening at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of ZNU held an online meeting of supervisory groups with the therapist Bruce Young (California, USA) and psychologists and volunteers of Zaporizhzhya. The event was made possible through the active cooperation of the NGO "Development Foundation" and staff Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology, including the Department of Applied Psychology. Coordinator of the event "Psychological Techniques for Working with Trauma for Military" was Olga Ishchuk.
