Collection of "Proceedings of the Historical Faculty of Zaporizhzhya national university" has gained respectable international status. After passing an independent examination, publication included in the framework of international Scientometrics «Index Copernicus» (Poland). This database is currently the authoritative tool that allows you to assess the quality and impact of scientific publications. At the end of 2015 «Index Copernicus» includes over 13,000 journals. It is noteworthy that 11 Ukrainian periodicals of historical sciences indexed in the database, Zaporizhzhya magazine took the 3rd place by rating (ICV 2014 - 54.5 - http://journals.indexcopernicus.com/Scholarly+Works+of+t,p24782551,3.html?utm_source=SARE&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ICI+Journals+Master+List+2014).

On October 17-18, Faculty of History teachers took part in the International Scientific Conference "German National-Cultural Movement of Bessarabia: History and Prospects", held as the part of the First International Forum "Tarutinskij Dialogue - 2015" in the village of Tarutino, Odessa region. The conference was organized and conducted with the support of the "Union of Germans of Ukraine", chairman of the NGO "Bessarabian House" Svitlana Kruk, Associate Professor of Archeology and Ethnology of Ukraine Odessa National University Pryharin Oleksandr, Head of "Guards of the German Cultural Centre "Pearl" Valentyna Vaysbek.

October 17 at the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University held a regional event for interactive youth organizations and groups of the Euro-Atlantic direction "Ukraine NATO Youth Summit 2015", which was attended by pupils and students of Zaporizhzhya region of ZNU Faculty of History.

Today, September 25, at the faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University begins its two-day International Conference "Underground space, exploration, research, secondary use". The scope of this research collection is unique not only for academic historians of our university, but also for members of all national science. The importance and relevance of the proposed for consideration and discussion of topics by the fact that the event has shown willingness to participate 40 scientists from leading universities from all regions of Ukraine. Also their thesis for the conference submitted by researchers from the UK, Germany, Poland, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.

Last week, due to the support of the Department of Sociology of Culture of Lodz University Associate Professor of the Faculty of History of ZNU Iryna Savchenko participated in international conference «ORAL HISTORY IN CENTRAL-EASTERN EUROPE: CURRENT RESEARCH AREAS, CHALLENGES AND SPECIFICITY», held at the University of Lodz (Poland).

Zaporizhzhya National University scientists are taking active part in the process of reforming the legislation and government of our country. They often act as experts and conducting broad powers educational activities, helping to improve the general state of political and legal literacy. That is when in Ukraine going on an important for the further development reform of decentralization of the government, representatives of the teaching staff of ZNU organized a series of special events, meetings round tables, discussions, debates, etc., which incorporate not only the teachers and students of our university, but and the general public.

Archaeological expeditions and summer practices "in the fields" have long been a tradition for members of the Faculty of History of ZNU. This year offers 28 archaeological season, during which the research will be continued on mountain "Mamai". Also archaeological work conducted in a village Yurkivka of the Orikhivsky district on the site of the archaeological monument "Mechet-Mohyla" (from 2007).

In Zaporizhzhya National University continued a contest of amateur performances from the 1st to 5th year students "Student Spring-2015". Organizers of the event – members of the Center of cultural work – in this year proposed to the participants of the creative contest to give the benefit of experience with the audience of their own vision of such cheerful and creative phenomena, as students House party. April 16, the participants of the 3rd day of the contests, representatives of the faculties of Philology, History and Social Pedagogics and Psychology, came to solving this problem not banal. They demonstrated their choreographic and vocal skills in the scenery hostel, students apartments and even through the prism of memories of middle-aged married couples who are living from student years and spent together in love and harmony.

Today again is starting traditional scientific and practical conference "Zaporizhzhya Jewish reading - 2015", which will last two days. This time, historians and community communicate on "Studying the History of National Minorities in the 20th Century: from Holocaust to Modern Warfare".

From 22 to 26 March, according to the order of the MES of Ukraine "On the fourth stage of carrying out Ukrainian students contest of academic subjects" at Kirovohrad regional education center passed the 4th stage of the twentieth All-Ukrainian students contest in history. In the final of the contest involved 144 participants, along with their 37 team leaders and 35 members of the jury and the organizing committee, who visited the Kirovohrad from all over the country.
