The alumnum of the College of Economics and Law, the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Physical Education of ZNU Tetiana Kondratieva received a honorary degree of the International Master of Sport of Ukraine in wushu . In addition in 2015, she will receive a scholarship for the perspective sportsmen ofZaporozhzhya region. Awarding held on 16 of April in Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, which congratulated the best sportsmen of our region.

Last week, Associate Professor of the Department Theory and Methodology of Physical Education and Sport Valeriia Tyshchenko and students visited "Zaporizhzhya secondary school No.4" of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council. They conducted for pupils an educational event "Olympic Movement" dedicated to the International Day of Sport.

Last week in Kyiv there was Ukrainian Award Ceremony "Heroes of Sports Year 2014". In "Sensation of the Year" won Zaporizhzhya National University graduate student, rower Oleksandr Nadtoka.

Within a framework in cooperation between Zaporizhzhya National University and the Ukrainian public organization "All Ukrainian Federation" Spas" on the basis of faculties of Physical Education and law for several years are functionate scientific and educational structures which occured sporting, scientific and patriotic events continued research and educational work on this subject. Thus, today there was necessity of creation a coordinating center for improving joint groundworks, promoting interaction of some direction activities and promote development interdisciplinary directions in scientific and research work, complex approach to the study of Cossack martial arts and realization of corresponding needs in educational sphere.

On January, 22 at the election meeting conference by Zaporizhzhya Regional Branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine given the title of Honored Coach of Ukraine to Viktoriia Babii an associate professor of Physical Education Department.
