Winners of the annual International Charity Festival of children and youth creativity and talent "Wonderful World" were four students of Zaporizhzhya National University, pupils of vocal studio "Kantylena" (director - Nataliia Pyrih) was organized by International "Center" World Through the Eyes of Children", with the assistance of the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Zaporizhzhya City Council and the Department of Culture, Tourism, Nationalities and Religions of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration.

At the Faculty of Biology held a round table on the topic "Academic Mobility of Students of Biological Faculty as a Way of Integration into the European Educational Space".

Yesterday, on September 15, at the Faculty of Biology of Zaporizhzhya National University was held a solemn dedication of freshmen. The event was organized by activists of the Students` Council of the Faculty, led by Oksana Tkachuk, Deputy Dean.

Head of the Department of park and garden establishment and genetics of plants, professor Viktor Liakh returned from the University of Chukurov, which is among the five of the best Higher Educational Institutions in Turkey. He met with the leadership, teachers and postgraduates students of the Faculty of Biology of the foreign university. Also Viktor Liakh made a presentation about the main scientific achievements of the Department of park and garden establishment and genetics of plants of the Faculty of Biology of ZNU.

On April 8 at Zaporizhzhya Classical High School No.20 was a regular practical seminar for teachers of chemistry schools in our city and region. Specialists of Biological Faculty of ZNU - Acting Head of the Department of Chemistry, Associate Professor Alexander Brazhko and Mykhailo Zavgorodniy hold consultations on preparing students for testing and entrance campaign 2015. 25 school teachers took part in this event.

Master's students of the Faculty of Biology Yuliia Biela and Ruslan Aminov took part in All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Papers Contest of Biology, which held from March 24 to March 26 in Chernivtsi on the basis of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi State University.

March 25 at the Faculty of Biology of ZNU within a framework of the Faculty Week held a contest "The best connoisseur by Biology" for the 4-5 years students of speciality "Biology". Organizers of the event – teachers of the Department of Immunology and Biochemistry – also dedicated on account of 170th anniversary of the birth of the famous immunologist and microbiologist Illia Mechnykov, which will celebrate on May 15. Participants demonstrated not only the scientific presentations, but also participated in the theoretical round, which included questions on basic subjects for four years of study.

March 19, on the basis of Shevchenkivskyi District administration 17 students of the Faulty of Biology the 3-5 years students together with Deputy dean for Research of the Faculty of Biology Vira Kopiika took part in presentation of courses of emergency medical assistance. Among students of the Faculty Many alumni of medical schools who continued their studying in ZNU and planning to link their future work with medical and biological branch (Work in clinical diagnostic laboratories).

March 15 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held the first stage of this year's free training on passing of External independent testing. This day came to ZNU 448 entrants who wanted to test their knowledge in biology, and 246 entrants who took part in the trial testing of chemicals.

In February at the Faculty of Biology of ZNU held 1 st stage ofAll-Ukrainian Students' Olympiad 2014/2015 academic year from different directions of science. It was attended about 70 students – biologists, ecologists and chemists.
