Kyiv National University of Physical Education and Sport held its first All-Ukrainian Sports Students' Competition. In their competitions in mini-football team won silver Zaporizhzhya National University "Nadiia ZNU". Intense and uncompromising game eight best teams from around the country presented the incredible experiences and unforgettable emotions.

Economics and Law College celebrated Sports and Health Day on the Khortytsia island. The event was attended by 3rd year students, Students` Council, teachers and administration of the college.

On September 25 at a military town military unit No. 9-1978 was held the final stage of the regional military-sports competition for labor and students "Conscript 2015". Traditionally, the competition was attended by young men of Zaporizhzhya National University. This year they took the 4th place in the team event.

In Zaporizhzhya National University students work with traditional healing and is systematic and thorough. In universitiy constantly concerned about healthy lifestyle, good fit, active young people. Most attention management pays to physical health of members of the university community. Famous higher educational institution holding the annual sports day, the work of the many sports clubs and groups of health. But very popular among student-athletes enjoying futsal. That is why almost three years ago at the initiative of the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov was decided to resume the activities of the university team on mini-football "Nadiia ZNU", which has long held the championship in the national championship.

Student of Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhya National University of specialty "Physical Education" Hanna Horeshnyakova became Ukraine Championship prizewinner of Taekwondo Championship 1995-1999 years of birth, which took place in Lviv.

On 9th of April, began Sports Competition between Higher Educational Instititions of III-IV accreditation of Zaporozhzhya region. Representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University had already proved itself well in these sports games, winning gold in basketball competitions among men (a kind of game "three on three").

Last week in Kyiv there was Ukrainian Award Ceremony "Heroes of Sports Year 2014". In "Sensation of the Year" won Zaporizhzhya National University graduate student, rower Oleksandr Nadtoka.

Ukrainian team won the competition of coastal rowing in the Cup of Prince Albert II, which held last month in Monaco. Led Ukrainian team PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy of ZNU Vadym Zubov. Total, the competition, which was organized by Federation of Rowing Society for Marine and Monaco, was attended by 450 athletes from 14 countries.

20-March 22, held in Kharkiv XXII Ukrainian Armwrestling Championship. In total it took part more than 200 sportsmen from 19 regions of our country, including – 7 sportsmen of Zaporizhzhya region. Among others, presented our region the student of the Faculty of Law of ZNU, multiple winner of the competitions of different levels Roman Ahaiev.

January 26 in Kiev NSK "Olympic", the first award ceremony of young sporting talent at the age of 18 years on the results of last year "Junior Sports Awards". The first award nominees were winners of the main sporting event last year - the 2nd youthful Olympiad in Nanjing, including student of Economics and Law College of ZNU Yelyzaveta Babii. She was awarded the "Junior Sports Awards" in the nomination "The best record of the year".
