June 6 at the Faculty of Economics of ZNU held a regular meeting of the first academic business incubator in Zaporizhzhya region "BI-Zaporizhzhya". The meeting was attended by the director of the business incubator "BI-Zaporizhzhya" Oleksandr Cherep, Dean of Faculty of Economics , professor Alla Cherep, General Director of the Regional Fund for Entrepreneurship Support Volodymyr Stepanenko, Head of the Supervisory Council ", "BI-Zaporizhzhya" Yurii Petrash, Senior Engineer of JSC (Open Joint-Stock Company) "Zaporizhzhyaoblenerho" Oleksandr Lysenko and incubators participating in the project.

From 14th to 19th of March representatives of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics – Professor, Head of the Department of Finance and Credit Volodymyr Buhai and Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Audit Zinaida Urusova – took part in a research of an internship on the basis of Academic Society of Michal Baludansky (Slovakia).
February 29 at the Economics Faculty held a debate within the scientific school student "green economy" on "economic growth or economic development - whether you want them to contain to preserve the environment?".

January 22 at the Faculty of Economics of ZNU thesis defense in the specialty "Economics of Environment and Natural Resources" took place for the first time. No less important for the members of the faculty became the thesis defense of Master's Degree Students in the specialty "International Economics", which took place January 20. All magistrands showed a high level of knowledge and a responsible attitude to their own researches.
Faculty of Economics graduate student (specialty "Finance and Credit") Oleksandr Korobov from September 2015 as a member of an international academic exchange program «Erasmus Electra» is in training at the Polytechnic University in Turin (Italy). But January 11-12 Oleksandr visited the home department and met with its students. The event was organized by Oleksandr's Korobov supervisor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Alla Cherep.
Based on the Junior Business Management Academy of Kommunar regional center of youth and students held city tournament in information technology. Tournament organizers were: the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Zaporizhzhya City Council, Department of Economics of Zaporizhzhya National University, and ZOIPPO Komunarskiy regional center of youth and students.
