This week the 4th year students of the Faculty of Law of ZNU Vladyslav Bandrovskyy and Anton Barlit have returned from Poland. There they studied at the University of Wroclaw at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics during a semester – from September to the end of February. They were offered this educational program in the International Office of ZNU. These students successfully passed all the final exams, and they consider that their internship is very useful for the further education and career building. In order to get the vacant positions of the international academic project, it was necessary to have a high GPA, level of English confirmed by an international certificate, and to win a competition among students of ZNU.

The Ukrainian Catholic University in cooperation with the USAID Program to reform the justice sector "New Justice" continues a series of lectures UCU "Rule of Law Lecture Series" of the leading American and European lawyers devoted to the actual challenges and problems in the field of consolidation of the rule of law, justice and fairness. The organizers provide the opportunity for everyone interested to join the audience online. It should be noted that the students of the Faculty of Law of ZNU are the permanent members of such international events.

For the third year in a row, at the Faculty of Law of ZNU, held a competition "The best experts of legal English" is held at the Faculty of Law of ZNU with the assistance of the staff of the Department of Foreign Language of Professional Direction of the Faculty of Foreign Philology. The students of the faculty who want to demonstrate their knowledge of professional English are invited to participate in it. During the competition they represent their skill level, doing grammar exercises, working with professional terminology, creating a thematic essay. They also take part in a general discussion.

From the fourteenth to the twenty-first of February at the Faculty of Law of Zaporizhzhya National University continues a Week of advanced learning of a foreign professional language. Traditionally, the students and postgraduates of the Faculty of Law pay attention to the increase of their level of language training with emphasis on the study of legal foreign terminology, work with the regulatory sources in a foreign language, participation in the professional discussions with native speakers. During the theme week they will have the opportunity to join 2 video trainings that are specifically organized for Zaporizhzhya branch by the Center for German Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The classes will be devoted to the problems of public law, skills of professional public speaking and preparation of professional legal documents.

The other day at the ZNU Faculty of Law was held a regular meeting of the Zaporizhzhya branch of the Center for German Law of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The reason for the meeting was a pleasant surprise prepared by the leadership of the faculty interested in the improvement of the students’ knowledge of professional German language.
