The volleyball team «Orbita-ZNU» got an honorable second place in the final match of the Ukrainian Cup. Semi-final matches were held on February 22. Zaporizhzhia «Orbita-ZNU» and «Halychanka-TNEU-HADZ» from Ternopil met in the first semi-final according to the results of the draw.

Representatives of the College of Economics and Law won gold and bronze awards of Ukrainian Weightlifting Championship
The other day the weightlifting championship of Ukraine took place in Kharkiv among boys and girls under 17 years old and among athletes of specialized Children and Youth Sports Schools of the Olympic Reserve. Students of the College of Economics and Law of ZNU brilliantly presented the university at the All-Ukrainian level and won gold and bronze for the Zaporizhzhia team.

Student of the Faculty of Law Taras Malchenko is a bronze medalist of the international tournament Fujairah Open G-1 in taekwondo
From February 1 to 3, the Fujairah Open G-1 international taekwondo tournament was held in Fujairah (United Arab Emirates). The competition was attended by 900 athletes from around the world, including from Ukraine. Zaporizhzhia National University was successfully presented in a prestigious sporting competition by second year student of the Faculty of Law Taras Malchenko. The athlete won a bronze award. On his way to victory, a student of ZNU won 3 fights, and in the semifinals he lost to the champion of the tournament by 7 points.
