On April 23, at the initiative of the Team Europe expert of the EU Delegation in Ukraine on youth mobility issues Denys Demydov, the Faculty of History of ZNU was visited by Viktoriia Davydova, press and information counselor of the European Union, and Team Europe gender expert Oksana Drozdovska. They had the possibility to meet with the youth of ZNU.

There were free trial trainings on the EIT in foreign languages for applicants who want to apply to the magistracy. In total, about 283 people from ZNU and Classical Private University expressed their desire to check the level of their knowledge of English, French and German. The most popular language among future students was English (271 people), 10 people took part in testing in German, and 2 people in French.

Students of the Faculty of Management of ZNU took the 3rd place in the team competition of the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty "Logistics".

The Engineering Institute of ZNU is an active participant in Ukrainian-Norwegian relations in the field of social adaptation of retired military personnel and their families. On April 17, researcher of NORD University Iryna Roddvik conducted a series of lessons on the topic “How to create yourself in business” for students who began classes in February on the specialty “IT-technologies in the field of design”.

At the end of last week, a meeting of students of the College of Economics and Law with representatives of the Confucius School was held. Division Director from the Chinese side Wu Shukhong gave a lecture dedicated to the history and culture of China.

Today students have many opportunities for development and creative realization. Thanks to the support and initiative of the rector of Zaporizhzhia National University, Professor Mykola Frolov and Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Alla Cherep, such opportunities become much closer.

The All-Ukrainian festival of games, learning and inspiration took place on April 20 in the sports complex of Zaporizhzhia National University. Its goal was the development of creative, architectural, design skills and communication skills of children through team work on a joint project. The main task that was set by the organizers was to uncover the theme by building a model from the LEGO designer and presenting the project directly at the festival.

At the end of last week, an interesting event for students devoted to acquaintance with Chinese culture took place at the Trade College of ZNU, which was attended by representatives of the Confucius School. The event was organized as part of the Confucius School “Friends of China” conversation club.

Recently, on the basis of "Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic" (Zaporizhzhia National Technical University), the first (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student competitive programming took place.

In the city of Batumi, during the European championship in weightlifting among men and women, two athletes from Zaporizhzhia defended the honor of Ukraine. Among them is a student of Zaporizhzhia National University, the winner of numerous prestigious sports competitions, Kyrylo Pyrohov. He managed to get the "small bronze" of the European Championship in snatch, showing a result of 171 kg.
