ZNU representatives studied multilingualism in Estonia within the MultiEd project and developed a multilingual education strategy for ZNU

During July 19-29, 2022, Varvara Petrosova, director of the Center for Intensive Study of Foreign Languages, and Igor Kudinov, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology, completed the internship course "Multilingualism and beyond" at the University of Tartu (Estonia). This trip took place within the framework of the implementation of the international project "Erasmus+ KA2" "Development of the training potential of foreign language teachers as a way to introduce multilingual education and European integration of Ukraine / MultiEd". The organization of the trip took place on the initiative and with the support of Tartu University project managers Oleksandra Golovko and Christian Klauks, and the teachers of the course were Estonian lecturers and professors, including the project coordinator Kristina Kalas.

Associate professors of the Faculty of Foreign Languages completed a MultiEd internship course in Semiotics of Culture at the University of Tartu (Estonia)

During July 5-15, 2022, the associate professors of the Department of English Philology and Linguodidactics of Zaporizhia National University Maryna Zaluzhna and Olena Luzhanytsia completed the internship course “Yuri Lotman and the Semiotics of Culture: Contemporary Applications” at the University of Tartu (Estonia). The trip to Estonia took place within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA2 international project “Foreign Language Teacher Training Capacity Development as a Way to Ukraine’s Multilingual Education and European Integration / MultiEd”. The organization of the trip was initiated and co-ordinated by the project managers of the University of Tartu Oleksandra Golovko and Kristian Klauks.

Erasmus+ KA2 MultiEd consortium partners discussed the prospects of project realization during the wartime

On June 29, 2022, a meeting of managers and coordinators of the Erasmus+ KA2 MultiEd project "Foreign Language Teacher Training Capacity Development as a Way to Ukraine’s Multilingual Education and European Integration" took place. The partners discussed the prospects for implementing the activities of the project, which has been extended to November 14, 2023.

Within the framework of the MultiEd project, before the beginning of the semester, in cooperation with European partners, teachers developed programs and syllabi of new bachelor's and master's courses in higher education in specialty 035 "Philology", specialization 035.041 (German languages and literatures).
