Contest of scientific works on Economic Faculty
On the Economic Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University summed up the results of the first stage of all-Ukrainian contest of scientific works of students. The contest was held in four nominations: «Finance», «Accounting and Auditing», «Theory of Economics and Business», «Economic Cybernetics» among 35 students. From those scientific works the best ten were chosen, which would represent the faculty on the second University contest.

In Zaporizhzhya National University took place the traditional New Year reception for school graduates by the rector of the University. Its organizers became the Faculty of Preliminary Preparation of ZNU on head with its dean, associate professor Irina Bakalenko. 
The staff of the Faculty of History congratulates the associate professor of the chair of history of Ukraine Galina Turchenko and her scientific guide, professor, the doctor of historic sciences, the candidate of law, the Rector of ZNU Sergij Timchenko on occasion of successful protection of the dissertation on the acquiring of the scientific degree of the doctor of historic sciences.
On the eve of New Year holidays, on the Day of Holy Mikolaj, on the faculty of journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University the New Year ball was held, in which participated lecturers and students of the Faculty.
