Last Friday students joined the All-Ukrainian youth action “Magazine for 24 hours” and created the issue of this magazine.
This year is full of anniversaries in ZNU. October 25th is the 60-year anniversary for Valentyna Gerasymova, ZNU Scientific Library Director.

International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled ‘Theory and Practice of Actors Preparing’ is taking place on the Department of Social Pedagogy and Psychology on October 22-23. It is devoted to the Third All-Ukrainian Festival of the academic theatres ‘Danapris – 2009’ and 10th anniversary of the specialty “Actors Mastery” foundation.
The public discussion of the Constitution of Ukraine project proposed by President Viktor Yuschenko continues in the country. Scientists and students of ZNU participate in this action too. On October 21st the University hosted the round table devoted to the solving of the problem. Representatives of Law Department of ZNU, teachers and cadets of Zaporizhzhya Law Institute of Dnipropetrovs’k University of Domestic Affairs joined the discussion. 
These days Zaporizhzhya Oblast Museum of Regional Ethnography hosts international conference “Problems of Skiff and Sarmatia Archeology of the North Black Sea Region” devoted to the 110 birthday anniversary of Boris Mykholayovych Grakov.
Interregional juridical tournament between students of Zaporizhzhya National University and pupils of Terpinniv collegium “Dzherelo” took place on October 15th and was devoted to the National Jurist Day.
