October 25, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference Problems of Managing the Regional Economic Potential took place at ZNU Faculty of Management. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhya City Council, Zaporizhzhya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ZNU and Donetsk State University of Management.

October 24, the meeting with the WWII veteran Volodymir Yumatov, who was a platoon commander of the 9-th Guards Poltava Airborne Division, Red Banner, Suvorov's, Kutuzov's Orders at ZNU Faculty of SPP.
On October 13-14 the Championship of Ukraine in Kyokushin Karate was held in Kherson, where the athlets from Zaporizhzhya region took ІІІ place. The atletes were trained by ZNU instructor, Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional Federation of Kyokushin Karate, coach Miloslav Korzh.

October 21, ZNU Faculty of Foreign Philology together with the other faculties met the guests – high school students who intend to enter the Zaporizhzhya National University. The representatives of FFP have been attending city schools in order to meet with prospective students, present them our university and this faculty since the beginning of the year. The mobile professional orientation group of lecturers and students made a visit to schools of Mikhailovsky District.
