On May 23 Zaporizhzhya National University held an enlarged meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council. The deans of faculties, heads of departments and heads of the structural subdivisions were invited to this meeting. Among the other issues the participants listened to the report of the Vice-Rector on scientific work, Professor Victor Gryschak, that was dedicated to the participation of the Rector and the Vice-Rectors of our University in academic events organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

On May 24 at ZNU it was held a discussion on “Modern trends in media and new demands for the young and experienced journalists” as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation “The Development of Ukraine” The Faculty of Journalism of ZNU and members of Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation “The Development of Ukraine” became the organizers of this event.

On May 25 with the support of Zaporizhzhya National University and Administration of GIC “Oak Grove” the law students, the members of the Zaporizhzhya cell of LAU Students League, conducted the environmental share. 

The combined team of our University of CFI “Zaporizhzhya National Team” took part in the 1/4 Game of the First Ukrainian league of CFI, which was held in Odessa on May 26. 

During the work of the Commission on Ecology, Environmental Protection and Balanced Nature Scientific and Methodological Council MES of Ukraine that worked at ZNU yesterday there were considered the agenda issues. We remind that the commission was headed by the Rector of the Odessa State Environmental University Sergiy Stepanenko.

On April 23 it was held an extraordinary conference of Zaporizhzhya National University students’ asset. The purpose of meeting was the voting on the approval of a new version of the “Regulations on the Student Self-government.”

he Faculty of Economics of our University held a scientific and practical seminar “Audit: the present issues and development” on May 23. The organizers of this seminar were Zaporizhzhya territorial office of the of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhya National University and the Department of Accounting and Auditing of the Faculty of Economics .They dedicated this event to the 20th anniversary of the “On Auditing” Law of Ukraine adoption. The celebratory seminar brought together not only the teachers and students of our university, but also the honored guests, such as the leading auditors of the region, including those who stood at the origins of the legal and regulatory base for the activity of the representatives of this profession and are related to its successful development.

The Interregional scientific and practical seminar of Organizational and Economic Psychology “Psychological accompaniment of process staff training at the industrial enterprises” was held on May 22nd at the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology.

oday the meeting the Commission on Ecology, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Use of Natural Resources of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has began at Zaporizhzhya National University. About thirty leading experts in the field of Ecology from different universities of our country took part in its work.

On May 22nd the first prom night of the students, the members of the vocal studio “Cantylena” of the Center of cultural work hosted at Zaporizhzhya National University. Within five years of its existence the performances of the talented singers from all the faculties of ZNU, the participants of the studio, have become an integral and a very important part of the cultural life of our university. They create not only a festive mood during the various celebrations, festivals, theme music breaks, but not once proved that the students of ZNU are the best not only in education but also in the art.
