This year Ukraine celebrates 22 anniversary of Independence. This year celebrates 22 anniversary of Ukraine Independence. In Zaporizhzhya National University, to this event dedicated the book series of exhibitions created by members of the Scientific Library of ZNU (second building). The exhibition presents documentary materials, artistic and journalistic works that reflect a wide panorama of events associated with the creation of our independent country.
This year, the Trade Union Committee of Zaporizhzhya National University has apply for 500 vacation packages to persons who wish to spend summer holidays in recreation centers of ZNU.
August 15 on occasion of the Archaeologist Day at the National Reserve "Khortytsya" was presented directory "Cultural heritage of Zaporozhye region." At the invitation of the Department of Culture, Tourism, Nationalities and Religions of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, the event was attended by Deputy Director of the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University Nina Chala. Zaporizhzhya region Governor Alexander Peklushenko personally handed a unique publication to the Scientific Library of ZNU.
Yesterday at the World Championships in Athletics (Moscow, Russia) defined finalists of women's competitions in running at 200 meters. Entered the final and Zaporizhzhya athlete, Zaporizhzhya National University graduate Mariya Remen.
Participation in two stages of World Cup on swimming on a short water brought bronze medal to Zaporizhzhya National University student Sergey Frolov.
