Last week, in the "Congregation" hall in Old Academic Building, National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" was held the annual convention of legal clinics universities in Ukraine, organized by the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine with the support of Ukrainian Legal Aid Foundation, the International Fund "Renaissance" and OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine.

The Faculty of Law of Zaporizhzhya National University on June 24 was held a roundtable on "The legal status of the plaintiff in an administrative proceeding of Ukraine".

June 24 during a meeting of the Academic Council of Zaporizhzhya National University Vice-Rector for Science and Research Victor Gristchak in a solemn atmosphere handed the award of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine of Higher Education - Medal of Laureate of St Vladimir's Honorary Award.

June 23 at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of Zaporizhzhya National University was held a roundtable on the topic "Ways to improve the training of civil servants in a constitutional reform". The event was held to celebrate the Day of the civil servant in Ukraine.

The teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics of ZNU decided to join the All-Ukrainian action support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, held under the slogan "Make your contribution to the country's combat capability", and to attract additional funds to provide financial assistance to Ukrainian army to strengthen its combat capability and social protection of military personnel and their families. Thus, representatives of the Faculty supported the position of the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov who acquired certificate of treasury obligations with nominal value of 1000 UAH and encouraged teachers, staff and students of ZNU possible to join this important program, demonstrating their concern and involvement in solving national problems.

Recently, within the framework of educational practice group of future journalists and publishers visited ZNU Publishing House. Students talked with the director of the publishing house Yevhen Tkachenko, who answered their questions, and reviewed the specifics of the structure.

In connection with the publication of false information on national and regional Internet resources about the alleged closure of Zaporizhzhya National University Department of Ukrainian Language, the university Rector's office considers in appropriate to inform the public of such information.

Postgraduate Education Center of ZNU provides its students with additional educational opportunities for the second higher education gained from earlier educational qualification. This year, about 200 students have been used these opportunities.

In Zaporizhzhya National University completed this year's session of External independent testing, which lasted through June on the basis of our university. We remind, that this time on the basis of ZNU were 6 sessions of EIT: the Ukrainian language and literature; foreign language (English, German, French, Spanish); the Russian language; mathematics and geography. In general, the testing was attended by about 2100 entrants.

21 and 22 June on the Khortytsya island 200 best region students participated in the most awaited event of the year - "Zaporizhzhya Students' Republic 2014", during which the student was elected the new power in the region represented by the first deputy chairman of the Students' Council of ZNU, 4th year student of the Faculty of Law of ZNU Anatolii Shashkov.
