October 14-16 in Kyiv was held the 3rd International Medical Congress "Implementation of modern advances in medical science in the practice of health in Ukraine" and international medical forum "Innovations in medicine - health of the nation". During these events, continued the work of the Ukrainian School Lab. This year's workshops of laboratory schools were invited not only experts in the field of Laboratory diagnostics, but also university students of medical and biological specialties.
4th year students of specialties "Biology" and "Chemistry" of the Biological Faculty of ZNU finished pedagogical practice that continued in schools and secondary schools of our city and region.
4th year students of the Biological Faculty Olena Popazova (specialization "Biochemistry and Immunology"), Maryna Sokulska and Yuliia Bulankina (specialization "Ichthyology") recently returned from Bulgaria. Due to international educational program "Erasmus Mundus ELECTRA", our students during the past academic year studying in the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (Sofia) at the Department of Biotechnology.
Master student the specialty "Biology" of Zaporizhzhya National University Yuliia Biela returned with victory from Mykolayiv National Agrarian University. On the basis of the higher education institution September 30 - October 1, passed the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Students' Olympiad of academic discipline "Biology" (section "Biology of Animals") of 2013-2014 academic year.
September 30 at the Faculty of Biology was held the annual presentation of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates for junior students. Today, the Department has twelve research groups, where beginning their research activities for future researchers.
The student of Biological Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University Yurii Saroz was studying at the MSc level at University of Limerick (Ireland) for 2013-2014 academic year. It became possible due to the ELECTRA Erasmus Mundus Project, and because of cooperation between ZNU and University of Limerick. After returning from Ireland Yurii shared his impressions of the study and compared national and foreign systems of higher education.
Students of the Faculty of Biology returned from the educational practice, they passed this year in the company "Motor-Sich" diagnostic centers "Medlife Bio" in Zaporizhzhya Titanium-Magnesium Plant and the Institute of titanium. 
Today hold a solemn ceremony of graduation EQL "Master" and "Specialist" of the Faculty of Biology of ZNU. This year, the Faculty of Biology ZNU is graduated 321 Bachelors, Specialists and Masters; 42 graduates received diplomas cum laude.
May 21 as part of the annual scientific conference "Your opportunities, biologist-2014", organized by the Students' Council of the Faculty, was held summing up the work of the Faculty in all areas of activities: academic, sporting, cultural, charitable, etc. The event was attended by representatives of the Faculty administration, teachers, students and invited guests. Hosts of the celebration were the students of 2nd year of the Faculty of Biology Anastasiia Bezsmertna and Denys Bilokon.
