October 14, Liberation Day in Zaporizhzhya, in the Regional Scientific Library launched the exhibition "Silent witnesses of the history". Its very first visitors were freshmen students of the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University.

October 14 at the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University held a presentation of ninth edition of the series "Forgotten Diaries" dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Ukraine's liberation from fascist invaders.

September 15 in the 5th academic building was held a presentation of the Scientific Society for first year students of the Faculty of History. At the meeting told about research activities of students and graduates, activities in which they can participate, work plans for the academic year.

This week ended archaeological practice of students of junior and senior years of the Faculty of History, which lasted from July 1 to August 11. For 27 consecutive year, future historians led by Head of Teaching and Research Laboratory of Archaeological Research, associate professor Hennadii Toschev and associate professor of World History and International Relations Department Svitlana Andrukhiv conduct excavations in the territory of the reserve mound Mamai mountain, near the village of Velyka Znamianka of Kamenka-Dneprovsk District almost bordering to Kherson region.

This week ended ethnographic the practice of 3rd year students of the Faculty of History. This year's expedition took place to the ancient of the village Basan of Pology region of Zaporizhzhya region. During the expedition, 3rd year students of the Faculty of History surveyed more than 100 villagers Basan, Tarasivka, Shevchenko, Novofedorivka and others.

In the summer students of the Faculty of History passing traditional archaeological practice. This week returned from excavations in the mound reservation Mountain Mamai students first shift. Future archaeologists have been interesting finds - coins and fragments of ancient objects of consumption.

May 21 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held a presentation of the site «Historians.in.ua ("Historians in Ukraine").

May 16 at the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University began the traditional annual Ukrainian scientific conference "History of Steppe Ukraine in XVII-XX centuries", dedicated to the memory of professor Anatolii Boiko. In addition to our university among the organizers Nowicki Zaporizhzhya Scientific Society, M.S. Grushevsky Ukrainian Institute of Archeology and Source Studies of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Ukrainian Institute of National Memory and Zaporizhzhya branch of the Kovalskykh Eastern Institute of Ukrainian Studies and JSC "Motor Sich".

May 14 Faculty of Management students of the specialty "Management" and students of Faculty of History of the specialty "Source Studies" was held a roundtable on "Problems and prospects of transformation international processes in business" under the direction of the Ph.D. in Economics Yevheniia Makazan.

26 April students of the Faculties of History and Law of ZNU chaired by a assistant professor of the Department of the Constitutional and Labor Law Mykola Martynov held a work day of accomplishment of territory near the 5th academic building.
