On May 29, within the framework of cooperation in the field of energy efficiency, a working meeting was held in ZNU between university administration, scientists of ZNU and Engineering Institute, Zaporizhzhia officials and foreign guests - representatives of German and Polish universities.

The Confucius School has been functioning for the second year at Zaporizhzhia National University. The work of this structural unit was fully approved by colleagues from the Anhui Pedagogical University (Wuhu, Anhui Province, China). The educational services offered by professors of the Confucius School such as native Chinese speakers with teaching experience for foreigners are very popular among the residents of Zaporizhzhia and among students of ZNU.

В Україні триває основна сесія зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання. Двадцять восьмого травня вступники складали ЗНО з англійської мови. Запорізький національний університет традиційно став пунктом проведення зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання. Цього дня до нього завітали 147 випускників закладів середньої освіти м. Запоріжжя.

Traditionally, during the introductory campaign, special attention is paid to information on the choice of a particular educational program. One of them is “editorial and publishing activities and media modeling” (bachelor, full-time, part-time education). The list of subjects of EIT for admission: Ukrainian language and literature, history of Ukraine, a foreign language or mathematics. The branch of knowledge for this specialization is 06 Journalism, and specialty 061 Journalism. Qualification: Bachelor of Journalism, 3439 Publishing and Editing Specialist.

Centre for intensive learning of foreign languages has opened a set of preparatory courses in the English language for admission to the magistracy (in the form of a single entrance exam in a foreign language).

For the second year in a row, the Grandparents-online program, which is aimed at computer support for veterans of the educational institution, is being implemented within the walls of the Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University. It should be mentioned that Grandparents-online project was presented by the students of Engineering Institute in Kyiv during the National Enactus competitions where it was highly appreciated. This program is based not only on the desire of young people to “pull up” the knowledge of the older generation, but is also based on the basic tenets of the “pedagogy of cooperation”.

On May 23, EIT in Ukrainian language and literature was conducted on the basis of Zaporizhzhia National University. On this day, 320 people came to ZNU to test their knowledge of the Ukrainian language and literature.

The visit of Kiron John Rid, Professor at the University of Liverpool in Zaporizhzhia National University as a professor-volunteer and guest of honor completed. For five years Mr. Rid has been fruitfully cooperating with our university and the faculties of foreign philology, journalism and the law faculty in particular. Having a legal specialty, he not only gives lectures to law students, but as a native speaker he moderates practical English lessons for students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology; he is also an active participant in conversational clubs, scientific conferences, and various student activities.

According to the agreement between the French Embassy in Ukraine and ZNU, from March 4 to May 17, Alisa Kanuni, she is a second-level postgraduate student of the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3, an intern in the specialty “Language teaching methods - engineering training”.

On May 21, Ukraine launched the main session of EIT. External independent testing in math was conducted on the basis of Zaporizhzhia National University. On this day, our university was visited by 314 people.
