November 29, 2013, died Volodymyr Mykolajovych Tykhomyrov - professor of Russian Philology, Doctor of Philology, a member of the editorial board of "Vistnyk of ZNU. Philological sciences".
Students of the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University, headed by Dean Olga Ponomarenko took part in the opening author's seminar "Fundamentals of humanistic and personal approach to children in the educational process" of outstanding teacher of our time Shalva Amonashvili.
November 26 in Zaporozhye regional center of patriotic education of youth held a roundtable on "Orthodoxy and the Cossacks as the spiritual foundation of patriotic education in Ukraine", which participants were activists of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration.
November 28 in Zaporizhzhya National University held a regular working meeting of representatives of the administration of our university with activists of the Student Council of ZNU. The meeting was attended by the Rector Mykola Frolov, Vice-Rector for Maintenance and Supply Sergiy Kushnir, Rector’s Assistant Nataliya Voronova, Acting Rector’s Assistant of Public Relations and Media Galyna Mykytiv, Head of the Department of Educational Work Svitlana Kondratenko, Deputy Director of sports and recreation complexes of ZNU Olexandr Petrenko, representatives of Student Council of ZNU Faculties and hostels.
November 18 2nd year students of the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University held a lecture for students of Zaporizhzhya Teachers College on "Information confrontation." Conference purpose - to increase media literacy among young people.
November 26, with the assistance of Veselivsky district administration, district employment center in conjunction with the district education department at the premises of Veselivsky district gymnasium held vocational guidance event "Graduate 2014". The event was attended by representatives of educational institutions at various levels of accreditation. Zaporizhzhya National University was represented by the Head of the Preparatory Department Iryna Bakalenko.
November 28 at the College of Economics and Law of Zaporizhzhya National University held a reporting conference on the outcomes of practical training of 3rd year students of the specialty "Physical Education".
Campaign "Against drugs!", organized by the Student Council of ZNU, started in our university November 25th by training for volunteers "Drugs: causes and consequences. Prevention of HIV". Another event held as part of the action, was a meeting with representatives of the charity fund "Expectations".
