On November 1 at ZNU took place the report-election conference of the Scientific Society of Students and Postgraduates. Young scientists reviewed several urgent issues: the SASP report for the 2011/2012 academic year, the election of the head of the company for 2012/2013 academic year, the presentation of the Coordinating Council of SASP and approval of the work plan for the current school year.
Yesterday at Zaporizhzhya National University held the solemn greetings of the famous literary critic and member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, Professor Igor Kupriyanov on the occasion of his 75th anniversary. Difficult but interesting life of Igor Terentiyovych closely associated with Zaporizhzhya National University, where he trained a generation of students. Many years the hero of the occasion devoted to teaching work at the Department of Foreign Literature, Ukrainian studies.
On November 1st the Postgraduate and Doctoral graduates received their graduation certificates at Zaporizhzhya National University.
On October 31st the students of Faculty of Economics and the Economic and Legal College of ZNU participated in the traditional game “What? Where? When?” and they, the representatives of economic directions of preparation of our university demonstrated their intellectual abilities.
October 30, at the square in front of the 2-nd Academic building the music break dedicated to the 15-th anniversary of the internet radio "Universe" took place in ZNU.
October 23, the Regional Youth Festival of Popular Art "Starfall 2012", which was attended by the students of Zaporizhzhya National University - members of the vocal studio "Cantilena" (ZNU Center of Cultural Work): Piun Margarita, Sur Alina - students of the Faculty of Economics, Vorojeev Oleksiy and Danilyuk Julia - students of ZNU Faculty of Philology, Kondrashova Evgenia - student of the Faculty of Foreign Philology took place at the Regional Youth Center. 
October 25,. th presentation of the debut poetry collection "Pleasure of Apparent Death" by Zaporizhzhyan poet and journalist Oles Barlig took place at ZNU.
ZNU Department of International Relations and Work with Foreign Students for the second time holds photo contest "International impressions". Today the winners of the contest have been announced and and the awarding ceremony has taken place.
