On September 24 in Zaporizhzhya National University held a presentation of the civil campaign "Do Elections", which the student government representatives visited our university.
Last week, due to the support of the Department of Sociology of Culture of Lodz University Associate Professor of the Faculty of History of ZNU Iryna Savchenko participated in international conference «ORAL HISTORY IN CENTRAL-EASTERN EUROPE: CURRENT RESEARCH AREAS, CHALLENGES AND SPECIFICITY», held at the University of Lodz (Poland).
Today at ZNU hold a solemn flashmob dedicated to the International Peace Day. It was attended not only by university students and the Economics and Law College of ZNU, but also kids from a nearby kindergarten. To remind passersby of the festival, participants danced, sang and drew with chalk on the pavement.
In Zaporizhzhya National University students work with traditional healing and is systematic and thorough. In universitiy constantly concerned about healthy lifestyle, good fit, active young people. Most attention management pays to physical health of members of the university community. Famous higher educational institution holding the annual sports day, the work of the many sports clubs and groups of health. But very popular among student-athletes enjoying futsal. That is why almost three years ago at the initiative of the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov was decided to resume the activities of the university team on mini-football "Nadiia ZNU", which has long held the championship in the national championship.
On September 23 at the Law Faculty was held seminar colloquium on "Problems and Prospects of Legislation Development in the Direction of Power Decentralization and Reform of Local Government", organized by the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Law supported by Dean of the Faculty of Law, LL.D., Professor Tetiana Kolomoiets and Head of the Laboratory Involving Rulemaking and Enforcement Maryna Shyvanova, and Ph.D. in Law, lecturer of Constitutional and Labor Law Department Natali Verlos.
With the initiative and support of Dean of the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology, honored worker of Ukraine, Associate Professor at the Faculty Olha Ponomarenko started active cooperation with foreign colleagues up to date for modern Ukrainian society towards trauma psychology. Thus, on September 22 a joint lecture of Ph.D., Clinical Psychology, Andrew Geddert from California (USA) and senior lecturer of the Department of Applied Psychology, Ph.D. in Psychology, Olha Ishchuk on "Trauma: Psychological Peculiarities and Healing".
On September 22 was held a meeting of the international roundtable discuaaion "Business incubators as a tool for sustainable economic development of Ukraine". It was attended by representatives of the University administration and Faculty of Economics, students and visitors from Silesia (Śląsk) University in Katowice (Uniwersytet Śląski w Katowicach).
On September 22 under the direction of First Vice-Rector Alexander Bondar ZNU conducted a special instructional and methodical employment of officials enrolled in the Object management training on "Organization, the procedure for preparing and holding an object of special exercises and training of civil defense". The event was held in pursuance of order of the Rector Mykola Frolov dated 28.08.2015, according to the comprehensive plan of the Object comprehensive training civil protection of Zaporizhzhya National University.
On September 22 students of EQL "Specialist" of the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University under the leadership of its Dean, LL.D., Professor Tetiana Kolomoiets and Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Justice Department Pavlo Shaldyrvan visiting prosecutors of Zaporizhzhya region to familiarize themselves with the changes that have taken place in its activities and structure under the new Law of Ukraine "On Prosecution".
September 22 at the Faculty of Journalism of ZNU in the project "South Center Media Literacy," which is supported by the Media Development Fund, US Embassy in Ukraine held a roundtable discussion on the problems of media literacy with students, teachers and media experts.
